NAIL SPECIALIST UNITS OF INSTRUCTION

The 600 clock hour Nail Specialist course of study is designed to prepare students for the state licensing exam and for entry-level employment. As a "Nail Specialist" you become an integral part of the Beauty Industry performing various services on clients such as full sets of sculptured nails, fills, tips and wraps such as fiberglass nylon and silk plus the mainstay of every nail technician - manicure and pedicure.

In addition to the practical (hands-on) training you will receive, there are also classes in theory- that part of the course dealing with bookwork. The theoretical portion is presented in a clear and concise fashion with many visual aids and handouts. Here, you will gain a great deal of knowledge paramount to your success in the field. The theory you receive is not only an important aspect of your education but an integral component for passing the state board exam
